2018 Forest North/Pflugerville - Away
Red Team Families -
Remember when you stood in line for hours, camped out, or did the Amazing Race finish line run to get your child on swim team? We are going to test your dedication to swim team once again and there is no easy way to say this. The check in time for this meet is a very early 5:10AM, and since warm-ups will begin not long after swimmer check-in we need everyone there on time.
The good news??? The meet has to finish by no later than 12:30pm so we will beat the severe afternoon heat and be home in the air-conditioning earlier than normal.
Instead of our usual dual meet; this meet is a tri-meet between us, the Forest North Stingrays and the Pflugerville Piranhas.
Forest North is hosting the meet.
MEET LOCATION:
Elizabeth Milburn Park Pool
1901 Sun Chase Blvd, Cedar Park, TX 78613

PARKING:
Please park in the lot at Elizabeth Milburn pool, or north of the pool entrance on Sunchase Blvd, according to the posted signage. There is a marked parking lane on both sides of the street about 20 feet from the pool entrance. Businesses surrounding the pool have been known to tow so please avoid parking in their lots. The police also often patrol the lot at Milburn to look for illegally parked cars (parked in fire lanes, on grassy areas, etc).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ
- No personal gear (tents, chairs, coolers, etc) is to be set-up inside the fenced pool area. The grassy space surrounding the pool has ample room for families to set-up camp. Parents with strollers are asked to not block the walking path on the pool deck as it gets crowded.
- Due to City Code FN must keep careful count of the number of spectators inside the pool fence. Once they have reached capacity the lifeguards will not allow any more people inside. We ask that all parents watch their swimmers race and then leave the pool area to make space for parents of swimmers in the next race
- The pool has a conversion factor of .914
- Since we will have a shorter than usual shift change Events 46 & 47 will be moved to after event 53. This will allow for a necessary break for any 6 & Under swimmer that is swimming both breast and fly.
MEET ABSENCES:
- Report any full or partial meet absences by utilizing the Report a Meet Absence tab on the upper right hand corner of the Red Team website
