RED Star Families,

Yesterday was a HOT one! Please remind your swimmers to drink plenty of water at the meets to stay hydrated. I saw lots of smiles, parents and swimmers dancing to the awesome music and a lot of chickens coming back to Steiner! Way to go STARS!

Post Meet Documents: the following documents are attached to this email and can also be found in the calendar section (under past events) on the website:

• Meet Results - Official results from the meet
• Invitational Qualifiers - This is a list of individuals who have qualified to attend the Invitational meet on July 9th. Invitational qualifying times can be found on the right hand side of the website as well as at the top of each event on the Heat Sheets. We added 7 more swimmers for a total of 62 qualifiers. Coach Diana will pass out caps at Tuesday’s practice. CONGRATULATIONS!

Meet Photos: We have a hard-working volunteer each meet that takes photos of swimmers, coaches, parents, volunteers, etc. You can access the photos once they are posted by clicking on the "Meet Photos" button on the right hand side of the website. Password: stars

Ribbons: Ribbons will be in your family folder which will be along the wall of the pavilion during practice all week

Happening this week:

• NO VOLUNTEER SIGN UPS THIS WEEK – Next one will be 6/18 for STAR WARS & Round Rock
• TONIGHT – STARS Family Movie night! Come join your friends from RED and BLUE to watch the SUPER MARIO BROS movie. RSVP here
• MONDAY 6/12 – Orders due for the STAR WARS shirt. Our apparel team has designed an amazing shirt for this year’s Star Wars competition. You will receive your shirt before the Star Wars meet. Payment of check or Venmo will be made when you pick up your shirt(s). There will not be any extra shirts ordered. If you would like a shirt, you must preorder HERE.

DIVISIONALS vs. INVITATIONALS:

• DIVISIONALS – ALL kids are qualified to swim at divisionals. This meet is the competition between the 3 teams in Division 1 for the trophy. We are the home team this year and it will take A LOT of volunteers to host this meet aganist Anderson Mill & Brushy Creek.
• INVITATIONALS – Swimmers need to qualify for invitationals. This meet is by invitation only. This year it will be held at the Round Rock Aquatic Center on Sunday 7/9. I will contact you at the end of June if your child has qualified.

General Reminders:

• Report all of your Meet Absences by noon the Tuesday before the meet (or earlier)
• Please remember to check the lost & found bin at practice this week. We have accumulated a lot of towels, water bottles and shirts.
• When you leave after practice please straighten any tables and push in any chairs - we want to leave Bella Mar in the same or better shape that we found it.
