    STAR WARS Meet Info

    STEINER STARS,

Please read this email in its entirety, many of you have never experienced a Blue Red Star Wars meet and those who have, there are some changes this year.

The STAR WARS meet is a chance for our kids to enjoy the fun of an evening meet and swim in our home pool. Let’s show good sportsmanship - we are swimming with our friends, neighbors and classmates. Keep in mind that every swimmer's journey is unique. Winning isn’t always about finishing first in your heat or even placing in the event, we celebrate all kinds of achievements - perfecting a dive, finishing a legal lap of butterfly, or even just making it across the pool. We are here to cheer and support ALL swimmers whether RED or BLUE. We are ONE STEINER STARS TEAM!

Because we are ONE STEINER STARS TEAM, we will celebrate as one team. Our Star Wars goal is NOT winning but to have 500 Time Improvements during the meet. We will have a large star on display. Each time Blue and Red combined, get 100 Time Improvements, we will light up one point of the star. When we have reached the combined total of 500 Time Improvements, the star will be completely lit up and there will be a surprise special display for the swimmers to enjoy.
