Parents and Swimmers….Who is ready for a true Stars meet?! Below is the information for this weekend’s meet. It will be hotter than the last one, so please pre-hydrate today and stay hydrated at the meet – swimmers and spectators!

Please take your time to read this email in its entirety. There is a lot of important information in these weekly emails and helps to make sure everyone is well informed for the meet ahead.

I CAN’T STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE TIMELINE – WE ARE STARTING AT 7:00AM

CHECK-IN TIMES

• 5:00AM - Set Up Crew Arrive & Tent Set-up Volunteers
• 5:40AM - Tent Parents Report to Tent
• 5:55AM - Swimmer Check-in (check your swimmer in with the tent parents at their age group tent)
• 5:55AM - Volunteer Check-in - both first and 2nd shift(check your swimmer in first and then check-in with our Volunteer Coordinators at the white check-in table) Please wear your nametag
• 6:20AM - STARS Swimmer Warm-Up
• 6:40AM - Ready Bench volunteers report to the Ready Bench
• 6:40AM - Stroke/Exchange Judge and Timer Meetings BOTH SHIFTS (Stroke/Exchange Judges behind the starter tent, Timers meet betweencomputer tent & starting blocks)
• 6:45AM - 1st event report to Ready Bench
• 6:50AM - 1st shift volunteers, timers and judges report to positions
• 6:55AM - Event 1 at the blocks/ National Anthem
• 7:00AM - Start of the Meet

BREAK – Parent/Coach Relay (time permitting)

• EVENT 45 - SHIFT CHANGE: 2nd Shift Volunteers in place (1st shift to remain in positions until relieved)

• EVENT 78 - Exchange Judges report to positions
• EVENT 81 - Tent Tear Down/Transport crew report to 5/6 Tents

**Volunteers are required to check in at the volunteer check-in table, not doing so may result in you not receiving your points. ALL volunteers need to check in at the designated time – NOT the meeting time – the Volunteer Check-In time**

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ

• Parking: There is plenty of parking available in the Micki Krebsbach Pool lot. Please do not park in coned spots.
• The pool opens to the public at 12:45 so we have a hard stop at 12:15pm
• No chairs or tents may be set up inside the pool area
• In order to keep the crowd moving all spectators should enjoy their swimmer’s race, and then promptly leave the fenced in area to ensure that all families are able to view their swimmer’s races
• NO swimmers in the sand volleyball pit
• Kiddie POOL is OFF LIMITS
• Age group tents are reserved for swimmers and Tent Parents ONLY
• Children are to remain in their age group swimmer tent; Parents MUST check your swimmer out at the end of the meet
• Ready Bench and area behind the starting blocks are for swimmers ONLY
• There are to be NO photos/ video taken behind the starting block per the Northwest Swim Circuit. ZERO TOLERANCE

MEET ABSENCES

• For any absences the day of the meet please text Kylie Rasty, Team Coordinator (312-802-0877) as soon a possible

HEAT SHEETS/MEET RESULTS

• The Heat Sheets and Meet Entries are posted under the Calendar section of the Red Team website (and attached to this email). Please check the meet entries file that is posted along with the Heat Sheets. This will tell you what events (including heat and lane) your swimmer is in. Relays are also listed on here as well- however please know that relays are always subject to change.

APPAREL

• If you need a replacement cap please call or message Julie (512-773-5453).

CONCESSIONS

• The concession stand will be outside the main gate. There will be the normal selection of tacos, donuts, candy and drinks and will be bringing in food truck(s) for some variety
• Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted

LEAVING THE SWIM MEET

• Please help us by leaving their pool in the same or better shape than we found it
• You must physically check-out your swimmer with a tent parent by initialing or signing next to your swimmers name
• If you are leaving the meet before the free relays please double check with the tent parents to ensure your swimmer is not swimming in a relay. Even if your swimmer wasn't initially scheduled to swim in a relay they may have been added during the meet or may be swimming up an age group
