Tomorrow we gather to support our swimmers as they showcase their skills and hard work in the pool. Let's enjoy a day filled with exciting races and team spirit, cheering on our athletes as they strive for their personal bests. 

However, there currently is rain in the forecast. In the event of inclement weather, we will instruct parents to check their swimmers out of their tents and seek shelter in their cars until we can resume the meet. Any delays or cancelations will be communicated via the SwimTopia mobile app.
Please take time to review the information below.

PARKING: Parking is available in the Milburn Park lot (see attached). Park only in paved spots, not in grassy areas or fire lanes. Parking is available on both sides of Sun Chase Blvd north of the pool entrance. Check signage carefully to avoid fire hydrants, mailboxes, and other no parking zones. Please avoid parking in the lots of nearby businesses, as they have been known to tow.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ

• No personal gear (tents, chairs, coolers, etc) can be set-up inside the fenced pool area. The grassy space surrounding the pool has ample room for families to set-up camp. Parents with strollers are asked to not block the walking path on the pool deck as it gets crowded.
• We ask that all parents watch their swimmer's race and then leave the pool area to make space for parents of swimmers in the next race.
• Swimmers are to exit one of the marked swimmer exits rather than the main gate after their races. This will help the city keep accurate attendance counts. This route is marked with barricades, but swimmers will sometimes get confused and try and back track and go under the barriers. Parents and spectators must enter and exit through the 2 main entrances. The one through the pool pavilion and then to the right of the concession stand.
• The pool has a conversion factor of .914
• Age group tents are reserved for swimmers and Tent Parents ONLY - Please do not sit in the tent unless you are an assigned Tent Parent for that meet. We also kindly ask that spouses of Tent Parents not sit in the age group tents as well. We have a hard working team of volunteers that transport and set-up these tents every week. Space is limited and they are strictly for our swimmers and the volunteering Tent Parents.
• Ready Bench and area behind the starting blocks are for swimmers ONLY
• In the interest of safety athletes must stay in their age-group tent when not swimming
• Tent parents will be writing on the swimmers arms their events please do not apply sunscreen until AFTER this has been done. If you want to write on your swimmers arm before you check in see the attached document on how to do so.

MEET ABSENCES: For any absences the day of the meet please text Kylie Rasty, Team Coordinator (312-802-0877) as soon a possible.

HEAT SHEETS/MEET RESULTS: Heat Sheets and Meet Entries are now posted under the Calendar section of the Red Team website. Please check the meet entries file that is posted along with the Heat Sheets. This will tell you what events (including heat and lane) your swimmer is in. Please know that relays are always subject to change. IF YOUR SWIMMER IS LATE FOR CHECK-IN TIME, THEY WILL BE SCRATCHED FROM THE RELAYS

Swimtopia App: You can download the SwimTopia Mobile App on the App Store or Google Play

• You will be able to view preliminary results via the Swimtopia App. Final results will be posted to the website following the meet.
• CONCESSIONS: The Stingrays will be selling a variety of items including breakfast tacos (pre-ordered only), donuts, coffee, soft drinks, Gatorade and lunch items. Cash and credit/debit cards (2.5% fee) are accepted

There are numerous cogs to the wheel that make a meet successful and one of those key elements is getting swimmers checked in on time. 

5:00 AM - Set Up Crew Arrive & Tent Set-up Volunteers

5:40AM - Tent Parents Report to Tent

5:55 AM - Swimmer + Volunteer Check-in: Check your swimmer in with the tent parents at their age group tent; Check-in with our Volunteer Coordinators at the white check-in table) Please wear your nametag

6:30AM - Swimmer Warm-Ups

LEAVING THE SWIM MEET: You MUST check-out your swimmer with a tent parent. If you are leaving the meet before the free relays please double check with the tent parents to ensure your swimmer is not swimming in a relay. Even if your swimmer wasn't initially scheduled to swim in a relay they may have been added during the meet. Please remember to pick up any trash and leave their park looking beautiful.
