Dear Steiner Stars Swim Team Families,

Greetings from the galaxy of swim meets! We have some updates and reminders for our upcoming Star Wars Swim Meet this evening that you won't want to miss:

• Weather Policy: With an inclement storm on the horizon, safety comes first! Familiarize yourself with our weather policy here as we monitor conditions closely to ensure a fantastic and safe event for all.
• Relay Schedule Changes: Unfortunately, we've had to cut 6 and under relays, and the 7/8 and older relays are now scheduled for the grand finale at the end of the meet in the event that we have to scratch them. Stay tuned at the break for the final decision on these high-energy events!
• Updated Break Time: Prepare to recharge after Event 45! Remember to hold your positions until relieved, as the action continues to unfold.
• Tent Area Update: Our tent setup has been revamped for safety of the swimmers – be sure to give yourself extra time to get to the meet and find the swimmers' tents. Please bring extra towels for wet swimmers. While personal tents and chairs are still not allowed inside, the standing-only zone promises a prime view of all the aquatic action.
• Event Timing: Buckle up for an evening of excitement! While we have a firm 10pm cut-off, we're aiming to wrap up by 9:30pm. Let's all channel our inner Jedi to ensure a smooth and swift meet – may the swiftness be with us!
• Important Reminders: To ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for everyone, please reinforce these guidelines with your children before the meet:
  • Swimmers must remain in their designated tents when not competing.
  • Running around, roughhousing, and games like football or soccer are not permitted in the event area.
  • Our dedicated field monitors have the authority to ask any children not following these rules to return to their tents.
  • The kiddie pool will remain open to the public and is off-limits to swimmers.
