Dear Swimmers and Families,

A long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, we gathered for an epic Star Wars-themed swim meet. Despite the relentless rain, our young Padawans and their brave families showed incredible spirit and resilience, making this event a resounding success! The weather was a challenge that we overcame together, proving that nothing can dampen the spirit of our swim community. The rain was as persistent as a Tatooine sandstorm, yet our swimmers raced through it with the determination of a Jedi facing the Dark Side. Every stroke was a victory, and every cheer was a testament to our unwavering camaraderie! GOOOO STARS!

• Invitational Qualifiers - This is a list of individuals who have qualified to attend the Invitational on June 30. Invitational Qualifying times can be found on the right hand side of the website as well as at the top of each event on the Heat Sheets. We now have 67 qualifiers in so far and will have many more as the season progresses! CONGRATULATIONS!

Meet Photos

• We have a hard-working volunteer who takes photos each week—This week I’d like to give a special shout out to Samantha Haines! She is our lead photographer and each meet she works, she takes over 4,000 photos, edits them and posts them for you to have the special memories of your time at the meets! She has been splashed poolside more than our timers and still her passion shines through by capturing the biggest smiles, coolest stroke photos and best dives! Please make sure you thank her! Access to the photos can be found by clicking on the "Meet Photos" button on the right hand side of the website, password “stars”. They’re up and ready for viewing! 

Ribbons

• Can be found in the family folders at practice starting Tuesday. We will have them out through Friday and then you will be able to get any missed ribbons at our end of the year banquet.

Save the Date

• SATURDAY 6/29 – Divisionals swim meet in Round Rock (everyone swims)—more information will be released next week.
• SUNDAY 6/30 – Invitationals swim meet at Round Rock Aquatics Center (by invite only)
• TUESDAY 7/2 – Awards Ceremony @ Hill Country Bible Church from 6-8pm
  

Last but not least…a special thank you goes out to the fearless volunteers who came out yesterday to clean the tarps and those who stepped up at the end to help with the meet tear down. Your efforts were as crucial as the Rebel Alliance’s fight against the Empire. Without your dedication, we couldn't have wrapped up the event as smoothly as we did. You all deserve a medal from Princess Leia herself!

As we move forward, remember that next week marks our last week of practice. Let's make it a week to remember, filled with the same energy and enthusiasm that made our Star Wars meet a blast. We also have two important events on the horizon: DIVISIONALS and Invitationals (for those who have qualified). Your swimmer still has the chance to qualify at DIVISIONALS, so let's channel our inner Jedi and aim for the stars!
