Guess what? We’ve made it to the final meet of the season--DIVISIONALS! 🏆✨ Can you believe it? Time to pat yourselves on the back for all the hard work, sweat, and smiles you've put in this season. The Stars wouldn’t shine so brightly without each and every one of you! 🌟

Below is important meet information--please read!!

Get ready for some mega excitement, Stars! To keep our swimmers totally pumped and engaged, we're introducing the most thrilling heat winner prizes ever for this meet only! 🏅🔥 If your swimmer wins a heat, their tent parents will whisk them away to the Volunteer Coordinator table to claim an awesome prize--they must present their heat ribbon! 🎁

Tell your swimmers to get their game faces on because we have a treasure trove of goodies waiting for them – think candy galore and a flock of adorable rubber ducks! 🍬🦆 This is going to be EPIC! Let’s make this final meet unforgettable with tons of fun and fierce competition! 💪🌟

MEET TIMELINE:

• 5:15 am: Stars Set-up Crew
• 6:15 am: Stars Head Tent Parent Check-in
• 6:20 am: Tent Parents Check-in
• 6:25 – 6:35 am: Stars Swimmer & Volunteer Check-in; you are late after 6:35am and will be scratched from relays
• 7:05 – 7:30 am: Stars Swimmer Warm-up
• 7:25 am Meeting: Timers (All shifts) – meet at lane 1 at the non-starting end of the pool
• 7:25 am Meeting: Stroke/Exchange Judges (All shifts) meet at lane 8 at the non-starting end of the pool
• 7:25 am Meeting: Ready Bench report to the Ready Bench
• 7:30 am: Event 1 Report to Ready Bench: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Calls to Ready Bench for Events 2-3
• 7:35 am: 1st Shift Volunteers, Timers & Exchange/Stroke Judges Report to Positions
• 7:40 am: Event 1 at the Starting Blocks (National Anthem - 7:40am)
• 7:45 am: Start of Meet - Event 1
• Event 31 Shift Change - Call for 2nd Shift Volunteers (1st shift to remain at positions until relieved)
• Event 32 2nd Shift Begins
• Event 57 Shift Change - Call for 3rd shift Volunteers (2nd shift to remain at positions until relieved) 
• Event 58 3rd Shift Begins
• Event 78 Exchange Judge Report to Positions/Tent Teardown crew check in to begin teardown after relays

Pit Area: Our team's tents will be in the grassy area directly across from the main pool entrance. Check out the attached map for details. We’ll enter the ready bench from the side. 

Remember, all family tents must be set up outside the pool fence. Only team tents are allowed inside. No staking down tents inside the fenced pool area - we don't want to surprise the sprinklers! 🌱

Parking:

• FIRST: Pool Parking/Angle parking on Sendero Springs Drive.
• SECOND: South Star Bank/Hatch House parking lot (just a 3-minute walk to the pool).
• THIRD: Specified and limited neighborhood parking.

Heads up! Swimmers and gear can be dropped off at the pool. Families, please bring just one vehicle and carpool if you can. Volunteers will be on hand to help, but make sure to park only in permitted areas. Green shading on the map means go (parallel parking); red areas mean no parking.

Parking Don’ts:

• Within 50 feet of an intersection (coned off)*
• Within 5 feet of driveways
• Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant
• Within 20 feet of a crosswalk
• Within 30 feet of a stop sign
• In the turn-around area of a cul-de-sac
• Red zones, including the drop-off zone of the pool parking lot
• On grass, including swimming pool and park land
• On the opposite side of the street where the map reflects parking on one side only
• Other areas designated as off-limits in the parking map

BC's Two Requests:

1. Walsh Middle School Remote Lot: (Marlins and Stingrays only) for families passing the school on the way to the pool. Partner up with another family and park there (no shuttle, it’s a “friends” shuttle).
2. Drop-off Lane at Sendero Pool Lot: Feel free to drop off swimmers/gear in the drop-off area before parking farther away.

Concessions and Swim Shop: Get your grub on! The Brushy Creek Marlins will have a full concession stand with breakfast tacos, grill items, drinks, and more. Located at the pavilion outside the pool fence. Their merchandise stand will have goggles, bungee cords, and other essentials. Cash is preferred, but they do accept credit cards.

Pre-order Breakfast Tacos Online: The pre-order form closes at 9am on Thursday, June 27th. Tacos will also be available for purchase at the Concessions Stand. Order Here

Team Reminders:

• If you need to scratch from the meet between now and Saturday, TEXT ME ASAP! 312-802-0877.
• No tech suits allowed.
• INVITATIONALS: If your swimmer qualifies for the Invitational meet, find me at the Volunteer Coordinator table ASAP. We will need to declare your swimmer and get you information. Also, if your swimmer qualifies for a new event and wishes to swim in that event, but have already declared another, please find me so we can get that modified. 
• No videos or photography behind the blocks.
• Event and Heat board/updates – Brushy Creek will have an event and heat board located high on a pole at the south (non-block) end of the pool. Their announcer will also keep us updated.
• Heat Sheets will be posted on our website--there was an error in the recently posted sheets. Please wait to print until Friday evening due to potential last-minute changes.

Divisional Awards: After the meet, join us at the Pavilion in the park area for the awards ceremony. Individual high point awards are based on individual swims only and do not include relay points. We’ll also be celebrating our Graduating/Aging Out swimmers on their last swims!

It’s been an absolute blast getting to know all the swimmers, parents, siblings, and even grandparents. This team is truly special, a testament to our amazing community. Let’s make this final meet the best one yet! 🎉💪
