🌟 Final Week of Practice - Let's Finish Strong
Dear Red Stars Families,
We did it! We made it through three exciting, action-packed meets in one week! It was a lot to take on, but our team rose to the challenge and came through with flying colors!
Star Wars was a total hit. It was so special to see our Steiner Stars families come together - cheering, supporting one another, and celebrating the season. Our Red Stars swam with heart and showed incredible sportsmanship. I’m so proud of every single swimmer!
Our list of Invitational qualifiers is now up to 75, and several team records were broken this week! Congratulations to:
- Davis Watson - 50 Backstroke (11–12 Boys)
- Harrison Parker - 50 Butterfly (11–12 Boys)
- Harley Dunning - 50 Breaststroke (11–12 Girls)
It’s hard to believe, but we’re heading into our final full week of practice. This is our last big push as we gear up for Divisionals on Saturday, June 28th—our D1 Championship Meet and the biggest meet of the season!
At Divisionals, we’ll be racing against Brushy Creek and Anderson Mill, two strong teams. Unlike regular meets, this one scores through 8th place, so each swim matters. Whether it’s a win or just out-touching the swimmer in the next lane, every point adds up and helps our team. We need all swimmers there, ready to give it their best!
Please log into SwimTopia and declare your swimmer’s events for Divisionals by noon on Monday, June 23. Swimmers must have competed in at least two meets this season and may only enter events in which they have a legal time. Swimmers should choose their top 3 events where they can make the most impact for the team.
The very next day, Sunday, June 29th, is the NWSC Invitational Meet, open only to swimmers who have achieved qualifying times. Swimmers can still qualify at Divisionals, and more details regarding this meet are coming soon!
If your swimmer would like a little extra help - whether it’s a quicker start, sharper turns, or refining a stroke - our coaches are available for private lessons. You can find their contact info on the Coaches page of our website.
And finally, thank you. From volunteering at meets to cheering in the stands and supporting our coaches, you play such an important role in making this team experience so special. We’re truly grateful for all you do!
It’s been an incredible summer filled with fast swims, team spirit, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. Let’s enjoy this last week together and finish the season strong.
Go Stars!
