With our first meet just around the corner, we are doing everything we can to get our swimmers ready to shine. We want our kids to walk onto that deck and feel the power of the Steiner Stars community the second they arrive at their first meet.

Thanks to our successful fundraiser, we have the materials to make our 53 team tents look incredible. Now, we just need people to get them ready.

It’s a big job. We have 212 logos to apply but many hands make light work. This is about more than just heat transfer vinyl. It’s about taking pride in our team and creating a home base that our kids will be proud of all season long.

No volunteer points are being awarded for this one. This is purely a "labor of love" for the parents who want to help us kick off our 25th season.

The Details:

• When: Tuesday, May 12th starting at 4pm-when done
• Where: Bella Mar
• What: We will be heat-pressing logos onto all 4 sides of every tent. We will also need help bringing the tents into the pavilion, and repacking them back in the shed.

Perks: Good music (also known as 90’s greatest hits), great company, and the first look at our new gear!

The kickoff will feature several vendors and activities:

• Food & Refreshments: Tropical Smoothies, Kona Ice, and CraigO's will be onsite available for purchase (please note: CraigO's accepts cash or credit cards only; NO Apple Pay).
• Swim Gear: D&J Sports will sell team swimsuits. Plus they will have fins, kickboards, and goggles available for purchase. Swimmers may try on sample suits to ensure proper sizing.
• Team Apparel: Our Apparel Team will debut the new 25th Anniversary logo gear, including shirts, swim bags, water bottles, towels, hats, and yard signs! You'll want to get yours before they sell out!
• Entertainment: Enjoy music from DJ H2^MO, bounce houses from Centex Jump, human foosball, cornhole, spikeball, and more!

Most importantly, all families must attend in order to collect their sponsor t-shirts and swimmer caps. If you are unable to attend, please arrange for a friend to pick these items up on your behalf.
